In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Ryan Murphy announced that he was reviewing his “American Horror Stories” Season 4 premiere, “American Sniper.”
“This is a very special episode for me,” Murphy said.
“I am not the kind of person to rush to judgment and call something ‘good,’ but I wanted to let people know that this episode was a strong and well-earned one that had a great ending.”
Murphy, who wrote the episode and directed it, said that “American Heroes” will now return in the fall.
“I am excited to be returning for Season 4.
The last few seasons have been so amazing and we have been working so hard to bring you a really great season,” he said.”
American Heroes,” which premieres on FX on November 23, is based on the book “American Hustle” by Mark Bowden.
It was originally released in 2016 and has been adapted for TV.
It also stars Chris O’Dowd and Emily Mortimer, who also starred in the original book, as a pair of Navy SEALs.
