By David HickeyThe retail giant has created an online marketing platform that allows customers to make the purchase of a new Sam’s® Club® branded fast food item, without ever having to leave their home or walk through the store.
The company’s new “SamsClub” platform will allow customers to simply sign up and create an account and begin making purchases of any Sam’s™ Club branded fast foods, including Chicken McNuggets, Chicken Tacos, Chicken McNugget Rolls and many more.
The company says that by using the new platform, customers will not have to travel anywhere to buy their favorite food item and that the new program will help drive increased revenue for the retailer and for the Sam’s club brand.
Sam’s Club also says that the program will be a win-win for consumers and the brand.
“The increased revenue that our customers are receiving through the use of our Sam’sClub branded products will allow us to spend more wisely on new and innovative initiatives that support the Sams Club brand and its continued growth,” Sam’s CEO Jim Bensch told investors at the company’s quarterly conference in San Francisco.
Sam has a history of building and selling products that are targeted to its customers.
The chain has long been known for selling a wide range of high-quality products and service that customers can trust.
In 2015, it announced it would be spending $400 million to buy a majority stake in Target in an effort to drive down prices for its customers, who make up the majority of the chain’s total sales.
But its focus on food is often questioned because of a perceived lack of focus on nutrition.
Bensch said in a statement that he and the company are committed to being an innovative leader in the fast-food industry and will continue to work to support the fast foods industry’s health and wellness initiatives.
